- 1 pound ground turkey
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 jar marinara sauce
- 4 sub rolls
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, egg, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and pepper.
- Form the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
- Place meatballs on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes, until cooked through.
- In a saucepan, heat marinara sauce over medium heat.
- Add the cooked meatballs to the sauce and let simmer for 5 minutes.
- Slice sub rolls and place meatballs inside with marinara sauce.
- Top with shredded mozzarella cheese and place under the broiler for 2-3 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
