A delicious recipe for turkey meatball subs that are easy to make and sure to please everyone.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 jar marinara sauce
  • 4 sub rolls
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, egg, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  3. Form the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
  4. Place meatballs on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes, until cooked through.
  5. In a saucepan, heat marinara sauce over medium heat.
  6. Add the cooked meatballs to the sauce and let simmer for 5 minutes.
  7. Slice sub rolls and place meatballs inside with marinara sauce.
  8. Top with shredded mozzarella cheese and place under the broiler for 2-3 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.

Notes

  • Serve with a side of chips or salad for a complete meal.
  • Feel free to add your favorite veggies to the subs.
