Ingredients
Scale
4 large eggs
1 cup plain Greek yogurt
2 tablespoons butter
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon red pepper flakes
Salt to taste
Fresh dill for garnish
Instructions
In a saucepan, bring water to a gentle simmer. Add a splash of vinegar.
Crack the eggs into separate small bowls, then gently slide each egg into the simmering water.
Poach the eggs for about 3-4 minutes, or until the whites are set but the yolks remain runny.
While the eggs are poaching, heat the butter in a small skillet over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes, cooking until the garlic is fragrant.
In a bowl, mix the yogurt with salt to taste.
To serve, place a generous spoonful of the yogurt on a plate, top with the poached eggs, and drizzle the garlic butter over the top.
Garnish with fresh dill and serve immediately.
Notes
For perfect poached eggs, ensure the water is at a gentle simmer, not boiling.
You can adjust the amount of red pepper flakes based on your spice preference.
