- 500 grams chicken breast, diced
- 200 grams plain yogurt
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon ground cumin
- 1 tablespoon ground coriander
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon turmeric
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1-inch piece ginger, grated
- 400 grams canned tomatoes
- 200 ml coconut milk
- Salt to taste
- In a bowl, combine chicken, yogurt, lemon juice, cumin, coriander, paprika, and turmeric. Marinate for at least 1 hour.
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Sauté onion until translucent.
- Add garlic and ginger, and cook for another minute.
- Stir in marinated chicken and cook until browned.
- Add canned tomatoes and coconut milk, and simmer for 20 minutes.
- Season with salt, and serve hot.
