  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C).
  2. Prepare the turkey by patting it dry and seasoning it with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  3. Place the turkey in a roasting pan and rub the softened butter all over.
  4. Pour the chicken broth into the pan.
  5. Cover with aluminum foil and roast for 2 hours.
  6. Remove the foil and roast for an additional 1 hour, basting every 20 minutes.
