Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and powdered sugar until smooth.
  3. Add the vanilla extract and salt to the mixture and blend well.
  4. Gradually add the flour and mix until combined.
  5. Fold in the chopped cranberries.
  6. Shape the dough into a log and wrap it in plastic wrap. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  7. Slice the chilled dough into 1/4 inch thick rounds and place them on a baking sheet.
  8. Bake for 15-18 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
