- 2 pounds russet potatoes
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Peel and slice the potatoes into thin rounds.
- In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the heavy cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- In a baking dish, layer half of the potatoes, followed by half of the cheese and half of the turkey bacon.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining potatoes, cheese, and bacon.
- Pour the cream mixture over the top and cover with foil.
- Bake for 45 minutes, then remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until golden and bubbly.
