  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a saucepan, combine milk, cream, and half of the sugar over medium heat. Stir until sugar dissolves.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together eggs, remaining sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, salt, and nutmeg.
  4. Slowly add the warm milk mixture to the egg mixture, whisking constantly.
  5. Pour the custard into the prepared pie crust.
  6. Bake for 40-45 minutes or until set. Let cool before serving.
