  • 4 pieces chicken thighs
  • 2 strips turkey bacon
  • 1 cup apple cider
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, heat olive oil and brown the chicken thighs on both sides. Remove and set aside.
  3. Add the onions and garlic to the skillet, sauté until softened.
  4. Pour in the apple cider and stir in thyme, then return the chicken and bacon to the skillet.
  5. Cover and simmer for 25-30 minutes until the chicken is cooked through.
