  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 cup diced onions
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup diced carrots
  • 1 cup diced celery
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 2 cups cooked pasta
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, cook the turkey bacon over medium heat until crispy.
  2. Remove bacon and set aside; sauté onions and garlic in the bacon drippings.
  3. Add broth, carrots, celery, oregano, and thyme.
  4. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes.
  5. Stir in the cooked pasta and chopped parsley.
