  • 1 pound rigatoni pasta
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large pot, boil the rigatoni according to package instructions.
  3. In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat, add onions and garlic, and sauté until softened.
  4. Add ground beef, cook until browned.
  5. Stir in marinara sauce, oregano, and red pepper flakes, let simmer for 10 minutes.
  6. Mix the cooked rigatoni with the beef sauce and half of the mozzarella cheese.
  7. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish, top with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
