A delicious and healthy recipe combining turmeric with chicken and rice.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups rice
  • 1 pound chicken breast
  • 1 tablespoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chopped spinach
  • 1 teaspoon cumin

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  3. Add the chicken breast to the pot and cook until browned on all sides.
  4. Stir in the turmeric, black pepper, salt, and cumin, cooking for another minute.
  5. Add rice and stir well to coat.
  6. Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a boil.
  7. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 20 minutes.
  8. Stir in the chopped spinach until wilted.
  9. Remove from heat and let it sit for 5 minutes before serving.
